Vera announced the partnerships with University of Georgia and Washington State University to address the growing use of jails in Rural America. This research opportunity will shed light to rural places that have experienced a growth in incarceration over the last years. In addition, it will bring rural jurisdictions into the discussions of making data-driven policy decisions to aid communities most in need.
